Round Table Mass Tour Of New Zealand 2010

The Association of Round Tables N.Z. and its members, in association with the Trustees of the Nevill Bullock Trust, and members of N.Z. 41 Clubs, invites all members of RTI/WOCO and their partners, to join the 14th running of this very popular biannual tour which continues to be subsidised by proceeds from the Nevill Bullock Trust.

The tour will run for 10 days from Friday the 12th March until Monday the 22nd March.


PROGRAM Kia Ora ! Welcome to New Zealand

Fly into Christchurch International Airport to be met by your tour leaders, trustees, local tablers and 41'ers.

12th March

In Christchurch, quintessentially English in appearance with elegant buildings and lovely parks and gardens. The Welcome ceremony will take place at the Gondola Restaurant situated on the Port Hills overlooking Christchurch City. Home Hosting.

Day 2 
Sat

13th March

On board your luxury coach for the two hour journey to Timaru. This busy coastal port and holiday resort is the gateway to the mountains, Lakes and rivers of the Central South Island. Home Hosting.

Today your coach travels down the coastal highway via Oamaru and Dunedin to your destination Balclutha which lies where the mighty Clutha River divides into the Matau and Koau branches and provides some of New Zealand's best brown trout fishing. Home Hosting.

A scenic journey to Te Anau situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Te Anau, known as the walking capital of NZ. There will be time to maybe explore the glowworm caves. Hotel.

16th March

An early start today for your trip into Milford Sound and a world renowned cruise followed by a scenic journey to Queenstown around NZs deepest lake, Lake Wakatipu. Settle into your hotel accommodation and relax in this sophisticated alpine resort town. Hotel

Day 6 
Wed

17th March

An early start to discover the magical wilderness of " Lord of the Rings." Walk in Paradise. Jetboat to the edge of reality. A half day Safari on the Dart River awaits you. Back to Queenstown and dinner at the Skyline Restaurant. Hotel

Thur 

18th March

Today we fly the length of the South Island and land at Nelson Airport where the local tablers will entertain you and show you the sights of this popular tourist town. Home Hosting

19th March

A day to explore the many tourist attractions that this region offers. It is renowned for its beaches, wineries, arts and crafts, cafes and restaurants. Home Hosting

Day 9
Sat 

20th March

A two hour trip to Blenheim in the heart of Marlborough, New Zealands largest wine growing region. The region has gained international acclaim as having the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world. Blenheim RT are your hosts for tonight

21st March

A beautiful coastal journey via Kaikoura to your final destination Christchurch and a night of nostalgia and friendship. Hotel
